I've drawn this character in my sketchbook for years. I have hundreds of doodles of him. I decided to use him to learn more about making realistic skin and sculpting. I watched a GDC talk given by Magdalena Dadela to learn how to paint skin using Substance Painter. I sculpted the bust from Manuel Cedeño's 3D Character Bust BaseMesh, then baked the details down to a more manageable bust of 24k triangles. It was fun. Now I want to model more than the severed head.
