I'm focused on creating models, textures, materials and shaders for games. My goal is to be a 3D Artist for a game development team, creating awesome worlds with creative people. I'm also willing to relocate!
I enjoy making art for other people to experience. I wear a bunch of different beanies. I started playing games back in the late 90s.
I started out as a programmer, completing my Bachelor's in Computer Science. I really enjoyed programming because of the amount of problem solving it takes to make things work. I also enjoyed making art. I frequently draw digitally and in sketchbooks, and I didn't want to lose that creative edge, so I found a nifty marriage between art and programming through game development.

House Pixel is a small Indie studio, so I wore a lot of hats. I focused more on the technical aspect of the art pipeline, dealing with lighting passes, visual effects, and optimizing/benchmarking for performance. I also set up materials and instances within UE4 for other artists to use and modify. When needed, I also modeled proxy environment pieces and props used for gameplay.
I set up master materials and parameters for textures within Unreal 4, including materials for vertex painting grass and dirt pathways. I Created environment rocks and jump pad flowers using 3Ds Max. I rigged and skinned the main player character, and provided lighting and post process passes on Dawn’s levels.
